Though they stopped making kits in 1992 it is sad to see them make the final walk. I had a Heathkit radio that I built with my Dad. First real experience in our hobby.
I have built their synthesizer, guitar reverb tanks, stereo receiver, power amps, AM radio, Bucket Brigade echo processor, and other items when growing up. Those experiences taught me most of what I know about analog electronics and led to a lifetime of hobby design and building.
