Rocketfish Wireless speaker kit

Does anyone know anything about this?

Right now I'm running just 3.1 setup since the house I'm in now has wood floors and I can't run speaker wire to the rears. Went from a 7.2 to this. :scared-yipes:

Someone at Best Buy suggested this (although I'm not sure he knew what I was talking about). The rear speakers (well all of them really) are Klipsch RB75s. I have the RC-64 center. I could go with a smaller Klipsch rear surround speaker if that would work better with this wireless kit. I have a set of smaller Klipsch bookshelf speakers in the attic (I believe they are RB41s).

Got the new tv on Friday. All this smart tv and smart phone palaver. Took forever to set it up and get the bugs worked out. That HDMI CEC (or whatever it's called) is a real pain in the ass. Finally figured out that turning it off eliminated all the issues.

I miss component and S-Video!!!

There are a few "wireless" on the market now. The Rocketfish was is amoung the least expensive. I've also looked at the Outlaw OAW3 solution but it's significantly more expensive

Didn't realize Outlaw had one. Let me check it out.

Hate not having at least a 5.1 system right now. BB employees suggested a soundbar (not happening) and that Sonos wireless system. Would rather keep what I have (if possible).

Decided to head over to Buford and pick up the Rocketfish at Best Buy. Will pfaff about with it tomorrow and let you know how it works. Not holding out much hope, but . . .

Also picked up a Grace Digital internet radio. Works pretty good, picked up the wi-fi and all I had to do was put in the password. Got it all set up and I can now pick up the BBC radio stations.

Holy shit. This thing actually works (so far). Still need some tinkering (and I don't think Audyssey recognizes the rears).

 I wonder if thats due to the delay mentioned in the review you linked to

Ok, need some help. I can't remember on a 5.1 setup, do I use SBL/R or SL/R for the rears? Can't find my Marantz manual. So tired of looking for things that are still boxed up.

The SL/R - Surround Left and Right are the ones for 5.1

The SBL/R - Surround BACK Left and Right are the ones for 7.1
