Was browsing around on Netflix, and happened to come across this one. Seemed a little silly, but I was bored and figured I didn't have much to lose. Well... I love it! It's quirky in that Japanese way, charming, a little funny, and MAJOR FOOD PORN. For the love of God, don't watch this if you're hungry and don't have any food at hand. It's iron chef meets Mr. Miyagi meets Seven Samurai meets Japanese comedy.

Highly recommended if you're looking for something a little - well a lot - different.

Aside , for those of Italian heritage, do people put tabasco on spaghetti? (yes this came up in this show) I've never heard of doing that, but I suppose it could work.

I'm not Italian but I did stay at a Holiday Inna Espresso last night.
A little-known Nectar of the Junkfood Gods, Cincinnati-style Chili (Skyline, 5-Star, etc) is a plate of spaghetti with allspice and cinnamon-spiced thin meat sauce, onions, cheddar, and beans (the default 5-way). It requires, requires, exactly 7 drops of Tabasco to reach Nirvana.
Trust me on this.

Around here we put Tabasco (or any of several other hot sauces) and ranch dressing on everything.
