Ha ha ha. Yes my wife gets her own headphones. She knows and has heard my lectures on audio. But the allure of Hello Kitty was too much.

I'm sure they'll sound just fantastic when paired with a high end tube amp.

But you'll never know until you try it with at least three tube amps and each of those with seven tube combinations and the best of three different DAC's.

Bump. I never listened to Beats critically but on friend's beats I could tell they sucked and were over bloated bass machines. Well I spent two tracks doing A/B/C comparisons to my Shure IEMs and my new . AKGs. I confirmed what i always thought. Beats suck
 
Didn't Apple buy Beats ? Also read that not only Bose sued Beats but Monster sued Beats (both had something to do with Beats headphones)
