SiriusXM deal for Internet Streaming

Got an email for 3 months @ $3.50 then to $3.50/month. I have wanted to subscribe but I think the monthly fee is a bit excessive. I figure for 3 months I'll give it a whirl. I wanted it mainly to stream via the SB. Listening to Willies Roadhouse as I write this. :banana-rock:

I don't know the quality of their Internet service but after a six month free trial when I got my car I felt the quality was not worth the fee no matter how low they make it.

Horrible compression on the service for cars.

Agreed, quality is not what we would like. It's the variety that draws me in. All the sports from The ESPNs to Mad Dog, NFL all attract me to the service. Then you cant beat the diversity of music and entertainment. For my ears in a car, I can deal with it. I know they have been hammered for the quality. I downloaded the App for my phone, so that's a nice option too. For 3.50 a good trial.

Maybe there's a flaw with the XM radio in my car. The quality of the sound on the music channels is so terrible that it almost hurts to listen to it. Even that talk channels were kind of hard to listen too.

In my situation the music was bad but the talk channels were atrocious, sounded like it was coming out of a tin can.

I can't say that it is that poor. Is it CD quality, no but I can certainly listen to the music. As far as talk stations, I do not see much to be concerned with. My major complaint is the drops when you get out of the line of site of the Satellites.
