Speaker kits?

Cool, do you have any recommendations for the kits that they on parts express? Do you know of any other websites I could check out? My budget will be $1,000 and they will be used as my mains.

check out the kits at Zalytron.com. I did a Focal/Hiqquphon kit from there. I'll try to find a link for a write up I did on another forum.

I almost did the Loki kit from another well known source, Madisound.com

I'm not familiar with PE's kits but they generally have better value than store bought speakers of same price range.
Madisound is another good source. I would pick a pair of two way bookshelf speaker and a sub that can fit your budget.

I have an SVS sub so I'm good to go in that department. Thanks for the replies I will check out the 2 way speaker kits.

I have the A/V MTM kits from Madisound, they are no longer available as a kit but they sell the parts for them plus the enclosure. I love them, they are very musical and a lot of fun to listen to. They were dead easy to build, just a soldering iron and a screw driver and a few hours. I will go kit form on the next speakers I get and will some day design and build my own because you can't beat the quality vs price in a kit.
Ben
