Squeezebox displaying lyrics!!

It just occurred to me that I would like this option. However, whenever I ripped my discs with EAC I did not use the "download lyrics option". I suspect I have to somehow retag all music with some sort of "lyrics" tag added. Anyone know how one goes about this? I believe foobar can do this? I am also confused as to how this actually works? Are the lyrics downloaded and stored within the flac file? Or does the squeezebox have to go out and grab the lyrics off the internet each time it starts a new song and reads the "lyric" tag? That seems like a recipe for disaster if I have a flaky wifi connection on one of my squeezeboxes.
