I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
I'm moving into a new place, and will be making two bass traps. They will go in the corners of the room from floor to ceiling. So they will be 8ft tall. I was looking for suggestions on how I should build the frames to hold them in place?
The rail and stile approach can look very good. You can stain the wood and keep it exposed to the room, making for a clean and architectural look and feel. The fabric can be anything that looks good and has a relatively open (non-shiny) weave. By stapling the fabric to the rear of the frame, you get the look of a proper panel.
