Wife and I finally got time to watch the finally of Lost. It was amazing. I would love to here your interpreation of it.
 
The producers swore left and right that "the island" was not purgatory.

It was purgatory.

I lost interest halfway through the second to last season, but continued to watch just so I could get the complete story.

Some of the easter eggs throughout the series are quite amazing and the story overall was fantastic, but they could have ended it about a season sooner.
