Several of my friends are attending the NAMM show (National Association of Music Merchants) in Anaheim this weekend. My buddy Ken just posted this photo of the newest vinyl player from Japan:

Apparently it "drives" around a stationary disk and keeps a needle in the groove. No word if it has an HDMI Out... :laughing:
 
It looks German to me. Volkswagen makes some very good automobiles but their vans have a lousy track record so I'm guessing this turntable will not be all that successful. :mrgreen:

Stranger, I had a '77 VW bus that I absolutely loved. Bought it for $2,000; eventually dropped a $850 clutch in it, hauled equipment to gigs for five years, then sold it... for $2,000. Figured I'd want a heater, moving to North Dakota...
