Great choice. Agreed with Joss Whedon would have been my first choice but JJ is a close second.

So what do you think the plot is going to be? Also very curious as to when the story picks up - right after jedi, a generation after, or longer? Imagine the cameo possibilities!!
 
Correct me if I am wrong but is it not JJ Abrams who does some of the Star Trek movies also.
 
^ this is correct, either he's moving on or doing both. Either way he better not bring those friggin' lens flares to the Star Wars franchise!!!!
