I got Fair Warning in the mail today. Looked it over, and I don't think it's the remastered edition, even though the Amazon listing said it was. Matter of fact, it's not. My other VH remasters (from 2000, I believe) have gold colored discs with "Warner Remasters" on them and also on the CD case.
Have any VH fans gotten the same thing from Amazon? I ordered my other VH albums from there and they were what I ordered (VH1, VH2, 1984). I'm debating on whether I should send it back or not. Seems trivial for just a $6 album, plus this is one that's not in my collection.
I'd like to reorder it and see if I get what I wanted, then just sell the original to someone else. I even thought about the boxset that's under $30, but have read that box set is just a plain ole vanilla collection. No artwork, liner notes, or anything, just the music. I'd rather pay for the albums to all get the extras, but may reconsider if the boxset discs are all remastered.
