As has been the trend in past format wars this should settle the debate of whether 4K will be around for awhile. They should cut out the middle man and just let Panasonic or some other tech conglomerate buy out the porn studios.

I thought the "porn drives home video tech" argument died with the last format war. Major porn producers went with HD-DVD. We're all now using Blu-Ray.

IMO, pornography's days of driving the home theater market are done and have been since dialup pretty well died. One can get more dirty media with greater discretion to one's own computer... and do so at much lower cost and trouble.

Hmm, was in Evanston WY weekend before last and they have an adult novelty shop, didn't think of stopping in and looking for some. (3D releases).
