I finally got around to listening to the new Monkees album, "Good Times!"

If you love great three minute pop rock, 60's style, get it. Wow!

In the kitchen today, preparing my Baked Mashed Potatoes with sautéed peas, Parmesan & Mozzarella for our family gathering this evening. We are going out for Christmas Eve. This seemed appropriate to listen to while in the kitchen.

They certainly did a great job on that one. I love the title track. To my ear there's not a bad song on the whole album.

Not sure how I came across this one, probably a rec here somewhere but I really don't remember. Anyway, been listening to it today, and I'm really digging it. Nice relaxed groove, good full sound. Hard to classify... a little blues, a little folk ballad. Good stuff.
