I finally got around to listening to the new Monkees album, "Good Times!"

If you love great three minute pop rock, 60's style, get it. Wow!

They certainly did a great job on that one. I love the title track. To my ear there's not a bad song on the whole album.

Not sure how I came across this one, probably a rec here somewhere but I really don't remember. Anyway, been listening to it today, and I'm really digging it. Nice relaxed groove, good full sound. Hard to classify... a little blues, a little folk ballad. Good stuff.

I can almost guarantee that none of you has ever heard of, or heard this one, but if you love the sound of amazing female vocals, combined with great traditional Xmas songs, then you really (really really) should give this one a try. I bought my copy direct from Scarlett Jane (at one of their shows) who perform one song on the album.
