What Are You Listening To?

This is an electronic music EP, done in a "binaural" recording.
From what I remember, a "binaural" recording is normally a live music performance (usually classical) that is recorded with two small mics inside a styrofoam head, and what those two mics hear in the auditorium (the musicians, the reflections and reverbs in the hall, the old lady who keeps clearing her throat four rows behind you, etc) are exactly what goes into your two earcups or IEMs, so you hear exactly what you would have heard had you (or at least your head) been there in the hall.
Now, how does this work with electronic music? I'm not really sure; my guess is that the final stereo track was just mixed/mastered on headphones, rather than speakers. It's quite an experience, I'm streaming it right now from Apple Music. Worth a listen if you like listening thru cans.

If you claim to be a power-pop lover and haven't heard of Bleu (aka: Bleu McCauley), then you are missing out.
