Wireless Blu Ray Player Question

I connected our Panny wireless Blu Ray player to our wireless network.

While playing back some surround demo material from YouTube, it will only plays back in PCM, not surround.

I checked settings on the Player and all seemed right.

Does the audio from YouTube always playback in PCM or is this user uneducated error?

Youtube audio is 2.0 AAC and it's low bitrate (128kbps I think).

I'm not sure about Youtube specifically but PCM can be anything from mono to 7.1.

This was 2 channel PCM.

I don't think YouTube goes beyond 2.0
