The classic lineup (Corea, Weckl, Marienthal, Patittucci and Gambale) are reuniting/touring! No mention of a new album.
Only got to see them once, in Santa Fe (2nd row!), amazing show.

They have one date in Nashville.....October 14th. That's a Friday, so I'd have to see how that played out (no Saturday OT). I got to see Patittucci in Knoxville back in 2001 for Herbie Hancock's Directions in music tour. They played songs from Miles Davis and John Coltrane. That tour had Hancock and Pat (of course) along with Rory Hargrove on trumpet, Brain Blade on drums, and the late Micheal Brecker on sax.


That was an amazing show and my first true jazz concert. I found where someone had a pretty good audience recording of that show too and got a copy.
