Youtube stepping up for 60fps content

We've all been watching how 4K is doing, but now Youtube is going a different route to higher quality video with 60fps support:

What do you think of that?

Personally, I believe most content is fine with the cinema standard of 24fps. That said, there is a clarity, especially with action scenes or panoramic motion where 60fps is more lifelike.

Looks nice but I'm not a big gamer so it's hard for me to notice any difference. Would we be able to notice a difference in sports clips or do those cameras not support 60fps?

You can get very good 4K/60fps video with only 15Mbps, so the problem isn't the connection to your home. The problem is deeper in the broadband network which feeds your connection.

This is where I am working on new solutions because the carriers all know they have a problem that needs a good fixin'.
