^ it’s not necessary. I haven’t seen them either and apparently they suck anyway. I believe with all the new Alien and Predator content that the AvP movies aren’t even considered canon but I could be mistaken.
My wife and I saw it last Monday. It was ok. I don’t put it on the same level as the experience seeing Legacy in IMAX. That’s hard to recreate. I think they knew it too therefore leaning into the NIN factor for the marketing. This will also not be revisited by me like Legacy as it became demo...

I enjoyed Superman way more after a second viewing…although Batman will always be my favorite character I’m a DC guy and always root for the brand. That means DC movies still come with high expectations and after the first viewing I was underwhelmed, but really enjoyed the second time.
Can’t wait, it was your review of Legacy in IMAX that prompted me to take my sons to see it a day before it left theaters. At the time there were no IMAX theaters in Delaware so we had to drive a little over an hour and it did not disappoint. Still one of my fondest movie watching memories.
Wife and I stumbled upon The Righteous Gemstones on Max, I believe created and/or written by Danny McBride. If you’re familiar with him, it’s more of his typical oblivious stupidity and silliness. The humor isn’t too far removed from something like Fargo (more the TV series than the movie)...
