Since my employer no longer owns DirecTV I no longer get a discount on DirecTV Stream ... the 100% streaming a product not the one needing a dish. So for the last few months I've been paying full price and ... I'm still a fan.
I’m more of a Mark Marquez fan than motoGP but I watched todays race as well.
Last year the majority of the season was on NBCSN with like a half dozen races on NBC proper. This year is the same-ish with the bulk of the season on CNBC and a half-dozen or so races on NBC.
The short answer is … no, not really. While the physical connection to the local switch doesn’t rely on the Internet, the inter-office connections and routing/switching systems can.
I‘ve seen that numbers. The percentage of active landlines that get literally zero use … for years … is actually kind of comical.
It’s actually a problem for the telco as they have to maintain the POTS networks that cost more than they generae. And that calculation gets less and less favorable...

Resting the keyboard atop the yoke and throttle was inelegant. I stumbled on this cool bracket which makes using the keyboard while sim-flying much easier.

That and how hardware makers and retailers are catering to the GT7 fans at the supposed expense of the "real" sim racers. It's kind of ridiculous.
The are significantly more fiber and microwave connected DRAN and CRAN macro radios in the world today and point-to-point routing has gotten dramatically faster/better/more secure. Many strategists assumed that Russia might be able to use "cyber" attacks to shutdown Ukraine's communications...
God damn it ... this posted made me que up some music and actually find out "how they sound". They're pretty good, not great. That lead to comparing them to the smaller set who's place they took. Now I hate the small ones and can't stop thinking that I need a strategy to replace them even though...
They're insanely good for their intended use. I don't do critical listening so they're primarily used for gaming and wasting time on YouTube. Rarely I'll watch a show or sports event there.
The basic demands are why I didn't want to spend money for a second set of small passive speakers.
