I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
That's my wife Kristyn...that photo actually, sofi helped take it! She hit the shutter.
She's doing great, as it looks from the outside anyway. Plenty of energy...too much sometimes. No heart function problems, never a sign of rejection. We actually just brought her back last week from...
When comparing one IB sub to another the most optimal one will usually have the larger baffle. Having it smaller does not always mean that you won't still have fantastic sound.
But when comparing the IB sub with the smaller baffle to a cabinet type sub the IB sub is still the better choice...
I was just curious because I had some carpet padding that seemed to be rubberized, over 10X6 feet. Rolled up tight to have an ID about 4" it makes it almost a foot thick from the inside. So I just moved it into one of my corners and it made a negligible but noticeable difference. That was at...

Box End Wrench: Used to make that leak under your sink even worse.

For surround sound optimal distance between channels is *usually* relative to the distance they will be heard from. For your front channels you would use the same method as you would for stereo listening; start their distance apart...
I'm thinking you're right. I'm also thinking the second you go beyond the output level needed to make any kind of LFE from any source sound realistic it's a waste. His HT must be the size of a small grocery store.
"unsatisfactory and a complete failure as a format."
Haha...he should come to my place then, tell me how many channels are playing and place a bet. I'll show him failure.
I don't think that any of the guys that have the money to waste on such things, don't realize that they are into something that not even the recording engineers, FOH engineers, or equipment techs. even touch...Do they think that they bring their own outlets and cable elevators on the road with...
Netflix puts those stupid stickers on their discs, which in most cases should be fine for its shape and position but some genius decided the damn thing had to be about 1/16" thick.
Every single time I've had a disc that wouldn't play it was from them.
