I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
I've used Integra and Onkyo products for myself and others without issue as well. However, I do think they get warmer than other brands such as Yamaha and are therefore require better ventilation than other brands.
Given the hook-up we have for Marantz around here, I would (and will)...
Sort of. See how they're firing at each other? That means the net force exerted is zero. Otherwise, the cabinet would be trying to move up and down with as the drivers moved. It would be cool to have the arrangement like that and put a scale under it and watch the "weight" change.

Thanks for the info so far guys. That makes sense about the provider being able to enable their device(s) to access the event, a la a premium channel.
Since the cable provider doesn't offer PPV, or Showtime (I thought they did and therefore he had it but nope), he's left with streaming...
Thanks for the info Randy. Any idea what the max number of devices is? How do they ensure that someone doesn't buy the PPV and then give the info to all of their friends to use? (Obviously I've never done a PPV event before.)
Bats, the HDMI splitter would only resolve 3 of the TVs (4 TVs are...
A friend of mine who lives in Hot Springs and subscribes to the local cable company (the WORST) wants to have a watch party for the fight. He told me this and I chuckled because I know that means he wants to watch it on several TVs and he's (I would imagine) going to have pay for each device...
In response to the soap opera effect, find settings like "Edge Enhancement" etc. and disable those. Basically look for anything that has to with edges and possibly motion and experiment.

A few months ago I would have agreed with this statement but then...
One of the firmware updates on my TV disabled the "Smart Hub" menu that I loved. When I googled it, several people had the same result and Samsung said they were working on it. The solution per Samsung was to use the search...
@Flint I think they were actually from Alabama. I remember that it was a fairly small operation with the owner and a few staff. But they were REALLY good to work with. Free samples and advice without overselling.
@Zing yeah, I know every now and then I get/take time to peruse other parts of...
I would like to know more about screen size options as well. I don't know about a traditional projector model (opposed to the short-throw version in the article) but it wouldn't surprise if they don't. It seems that the market is trending towards these short-throw projos. The view seems to...
So, I was being bad and poking around when I came across this.
Carada had a good run and I hope the founder (Giles is his last name?) is doing well.

I want both quality and convenience and we're getting closer. I want to be able to tell Alexa to play a certain song, album, or playlist from my media collection, have her fire up my system and start playing it. (Currently I can have Alexa "Tell Anymote to Listen to Echo" and it runs a macro...
We bought a Samsung last black Friday because we wanted a bigger display for the living room. It is 4k HDR and overall the PQ is fine. It has one major flaw though that our other Samsung has and will keep me from buying another. It is edge lit and this causes bright spots in certain areas...
In a padded room somewhere Ashley is feeling somewhat vindicated...assuming he can feel anything on top of the tingles and jingles from the shock therapy and meds.
