I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
Post AXPONA trip show report, the fenistria speaker wasn't not even there. I must have been using alternative facts in thinking it would be. The Magnepan 30.7s were there at Audio Consultants in Evansville, sounded like a wall of sound coming at you. Imaging was diffuse however I was told by...
I think it’s part of the current genderless movement, I read some Hollywood celebrity was raising her baby genderless, say what?
Like most fads this too shall pass, but for the short term expect more stuff like Jaden Smith.
Huey, I don’t have any gender issues. So I know you’re not talking...

Still sounds more female to me, but whatever floats your boat. Personally I want Jarvis (ala Tony Stark) to be my AI voice or maybe Kathleen Turner for the weekends. She's got that whiskey and cigarettes, low...
Maybe it's just a show thing, as I have not heard them at a dealer. I always like reading about all the various technologies they use in their speakers and outboard DSP processing.
Belated congratulations Keith, truly outstanding work you have done. The speakers look great and according to Flint sound awesome, however I am really jealous of your room. It seems to be really special, that kind of dedicated room for sound quality is pretty rare.
Would love to hear it...
I'll listen extra carefully to the PMC's just for you Flint, just teasing you. Too bad they are not fully active, but that is not the Audiophile way unfortunately .

1. Magnepan 30.7, mid bass and soundstage for full orchestra is supposed to world class. Unfortunately this is offsite, even though they have an after hours party Friday.
2. GT Audio's hybrid ribbon tweeter with open baffle conventional woofers, should be...
Legacy Audio always has a large room, and while I always check them out. I've never been a fan of their sound, something about the room set up I think. Their soundstage imaging never engages me, they do give away free demo CD's so that's cool.
I do believe Legacy uses an asymmetrical room...
Thanks for your feedback, Flint. It's always appreciated. I might be making a youtube appearance at the AXPONA show, stay tuned. Steve could definitely be a better ambassador for the audio world, but I give him points for trying. Same for Paul McGowan of PS Audio, their are worse people and...
I'm posting this because these speakers are related to mine, via the JBL M2 project speakers. These have the M2's more sophisticated horn and two 15" woofers. I like the Positive Feedback reviewers comments, as he has heard much more expensive speakers in his large apartment.

The OP, is a Maggie Guro over at Planer Asylum. He owns Magnepan's previous three panel speakers, so he is well versed in the strengths and weakness's. I will be traveling soon to hear the 30.7s in Evanston IL, they should have them dialed...

Found this over at Headphone Guru, a room dedicated to headphone listening will certainly be well received. They did have one room like that last year in a luxury suite, with a...
I have it for my car and the online streaming version in my home, I like the variety of music I get. Have been listening to a lot MSNBC and NPR, I kind of lost interest in Howard Stern show. So I should probably change that preset to something I would listen to more, maybe the sports channel for...
I bought SACD's and a few DVD-Audio's for the surround mix sound, which was interesting sometimes or not. But I never heard any more detail or higher resolution than CD.
I have never paid much attention to any of that crap, even going to back in the day before the internet. When you had to rely on the audio magazines editors or Julian Hirsch of Stereo Review, unless you were some kind of engineer. Back then it was always some audiophile reviewer with Golden...

Here is a review of an active powered speaker, guess the articles author liked them enough as he bought the 2 year old demo pair. List price is $29k wonder what Neil Gader paid for them? Would have preferred to see them in...
