What the advantage of one these over just using the phone? I know power, but is it also sound quality? Right now I am still using my S4 along with Player pro, that has a decent eq with it. Along with sennheiser momentum earbuds.

In need of some help, I currently have a older Denon 2105 that does not have HDMI, my TV and Blueray do have HDMI. Is it worth upgrading to a newer receiver for the HDMI? I really enjoyed the sound of the PSB speakers I had a chance to listen to. They were not their high end ones either, they were along the same price of my Paradigm monitor 11s. I forget the model number though, it was a while back. Really good overall.

I am still cheating, I have Fosgate 12 running off a Parts Express plate amp. Once I get my house then I will set it up right, Power Sound sub. I have been happy with it for now.
