I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
It's a fun game. I never quite had enough friends to play with. I am trying to talk one of my buddies into getting back into it since they released the big update not too long ago. I am only lvl 17. I'll be interested in the sequel, hopefully it won't take as long to develop as the first one.
Ha! Yeah, I've been happy with them. They feel a bit awkward at first but you get used to it. My only real complaint is that the seem overpriced to me. If they were cheaper I would probably buy a couple more. Maybe I'll look for a pair on ebay. Or better yet maybe I'll try one of these...
Take a closer look at the newest Rokus. I believe the new for 2018 models’ remotes include TV power and volume buttons with IR. I think the volume buttons are on the side.
I have listened to Revels on two occasions and both were rather high end. Each time the owner looked at me and said something to the effect of "Aren't they incredible?" And to be honest they never really did anything for me. Maybe my ears aren't good enough but they didn't excite me like they...
I picked up a Philips Hue starter pack yesterday and installed 4 basic white bulbs. They can dim but can't change color. 3 of them are in one room and the 4th is in our bedroom. So far they are pretty cool. Very nice to be able to tell Alexa to turn on the family room lights. I imagine I...
Take a look at these. The link should be filtered for Yamaha's that have preouts.

I have DirecTV Now. Picture quality is passable. My biggest gripe is the general slowness of changing channels. There are no channel numbers and the only way to get to a specific channel is by clicking through the guide one channel at a time or searching or using one of the other navigation...
Yeah they seem a bit raw when you see the various live videos on youtube. But I like their sound, it's a nice departure from other new music groups. Hopefully they can mature as musicians and stay together for a while. I imagine that falsetto is tough to maintain on a nightly basis for the...
Anyone else hooked on these youngsters who sound like a bit of a throwback Zeppelin?
I can't get the song Talk on the Streets out of my head. Here's a couple of samples.
Yes, ARC is for sending audio back to the receiver. This would be used when you use the smart apps built into the TV or OTA broadcasts unless I am missing some other scenarios where you would use this.
My $0.02 on the entertainment stand...time to ditch it and wall mount.
I just had a somewhat similar experience. My NAD D7050 digital stereo amplifier and wifi streamer will no longer be compatible with Spotify soon. I can still use the USB, Bluetooth and one set of analog inputs but I use this thing with Spotify 90% of the time. I don't know if it was a Spotify...
Well, I got this email out of the blue today from Spotify. I'm not real happy and I don't know if I should be annoyed with NAD or Spotify. Maybe Spotify is rolling out some changes and the folks at NAD don't want to develop further firmware updates? This sucks...
Important information about...
Thanks guys! I've made some changes down there. I moved my Dynaudio S3.4 into the basement as they weren't getting used enough in my office. It still needs some updates down there but with my youngest still being only 2.5 years old it's still very much filled with kids stuff. We need some...
