I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
These are quite interesting since I already have the MH30's. I thought this will be the BT version of the MH30's since they have the same sized drivers but they actually sound quite different from each other. The grills are for aesthetics only and these are actually closed back headphones. As...
I was wondering if there are better high resolution players available for iPhones. I'm currently using Onkyo's HF player. The GUI is easy enough to use. Is there a better player available? Thanks in advance guys!
My students like getting their headphones from Massdrop. I've looked at some of the headphone amps they have but haven't purchased anything from them yet.
I think since Alexa's microphones are really sensitive, you can activate it if you say your wake up word by mistake. I changed the wake up word on one of my Dots to " computer " and if you have Star Trek on it will respond every time someone on TV says " computer ". Even on my daily news feed...
I use a NAS running Linux to store all my movies and music (FLAC) and use my oldest Mac mini to share all media files to other Macs and AppleTv's at home. I still load CD's, SACD's and DVD-Audio into my older trusty Oppo universal player for critical music listening though.

I'll begin
1) Hunter by Bjork
2) Acid Rain by Lorn
3) The Gothic Symphony No.1 By Havergal Brian
4) Breathe Into me by Marian Hill
5) Windowlicker by Apex Twin

I use Wink and TP-Link products mostly for home automation. I'm not sold on smart locks yet. I just got into Homebridge so I can have both Alexa and Siri control lights, AC and switches throughout the house. Homebridge is kinda fun to work with since it allows to connect devices to Alexa or Siri...
My Schiit Modi 2 came in the mail today and I connected it to the Magni 3. I was using the Schiit Fulla 2 and Fiio E10K for DAC's before. I'm using the Bowers & Wilkins P7 with it right now. Will try it with the Oppo PM-3 later.
Initial impressions: Soundstage is way better and bass notes are...
Decided to pair the Fiio E10K with a SMSL T2 2X6J9 hybrid tube headphone amp.
My iPhone setup
Magni 3 is in but waiting on Modi 2. Using a Fiio E10K for DAC duties.
This is how I set up my MacBook Air
At home this is my desktop. Will be replacing Fulla 2 with the Modi 2 and Magni 3. Just...
