Awesome thanks. Yeah maybe I’ll try taking the wheel off to get at the fender liner and see if I can press from the back first.

Hey Chris! Hope things are going well. I had a PDR question for you. You think I could buy a PDR tool and pop this dent out? The car isn't worth much, but I'd like it to look better (doesn't have to be perfect). Keep in mind I've never done PDR, but I can watch Youtube videos :) If you think...

Considering ATH-AR3BTBK for daughter. Anything else I should look at under $100 with Bluetooth?

Thanks guys. The Audio Technica ones I linked in the first post went on sale for $60, so I jumped on those. I also read some great things about the Anker Soundcore Q30s, and they went on sale for one day for $60 as well, so I got those too. Whichever one my daughter doesn’t want, I get to keep...

Considering ATH-AR3BTBK for daughter. Anything else I should look at under $100 with Bluetooth?

Hey Keith, I’ve been good. I know I’ve been slacking in keeping in touch. The last 2 years were crazy. We had to relocate during Covid due to an unfortunate job situation, so we feel like we’re just getting settled still. But I’m enjoying where I’m at. Been following your house adventures on FB!

Considering ATH-AR3BTBK for daughter. Anything else I should look at under $100 with Bluetooth?

My teenage daughter wants a pair of Bluetooth headphones, and I'm okay spending up to $100. I was looking at these Audio Technica ATH-AR3BTBK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZNC2L9 Anything else I should consider at that price point? Must be on or over ear, must be BT, must have the option of...

    Paradigm Studio 60's

They were v3's, for reference. The only negative i could say about them in my HT was that if you wanted to push them pretty loud, the "cleanliness" in their sound would break down. But perhaps it was because i was driving them with an Onkyo receiver...

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

She (Luna) laid down with the kids for a little outside while the movie was on. In general, she just wants to be where we are. She's a rescue, so we don't know for sure, but they were fairly sure she's half black lab, and half pit bull terrier. Definitely has the short hair and shorter snout...

    PSA S7201

Ha. I just picked up a Polk PSW110 for a backyard theater... i should take a pic of it sitting next to one of my PSA S3000i's. Tom, can you please explain the physics of the setup in the new S7201? You call it "sealed", but the backs of two of the drivers are open to the environment? Does...

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

Well, picked up a Polk PSW110 off Craigslist for $50. In good condition, and it works flawlessly. It's certainly no PSA or SVS, but it'll get the job done. I think the last thing i need is a projector stand. It's going to need to be on fairly uneven ground, or maybe even the steps leading up...

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

Yeah, i wouldn't expect anything like inside, but just something to fill out bottom end so you can feel *something*. Maybe i'll just check out CL and see what i could find for <$100. Since it'd be placed near the seating area, its effect would be felt, i think.

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

So we're putting together a backyard theater as i mentioned in my WTB post. No pictures yet, and it's supposed to rain all weekend, but i'll post pics once we get to try things out. So far, we have: Projector: Optoma EH500 (1080p, 4700 lumens!) Screen: Camp Chef OS-144 144" screen Source...

    Denon X3300W usability questions

Hmm, possible. It has a "main" HDMI output, and a "zone 2" HDMI output. I'll look into that. Thanks.

    Denon X3300W usability questions

First world problems, i know... but i'm trying to figure these two things out. I posted on AVSforum's 2016 Denon AVR thread, but haven't received any answers. Figured i'd give it a shot here: 1) I have my X3300 powering a 5.1 system in my living room, and then the zone-2 preamps feed a signal...

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

I was initially only looking at sealed or front-ported for that reason (both HTD and Kef are front-ported). The HSUs are rear-ported, but they have ~3" behind them, and i haven't noticed any ill effects. Plus i'm crossing over to the sub at 100hz, so that probably helps.

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

Yeah, the HSUs are much less deep than the other two. If pushed all the way back, the KEF don't have to overhang (maybe the grills would slightly). Moot point, as Renate thought they looked too modern in that room, and preferred the hardwood veneers of the HSUs and the HTDs.

Saldog / Renate New House in OKC

As I mentioned in Cmonster's thread, I bought 3 pairs of bookshelf speakers to try out in the main family room. HTD Level 3 (ribbon tweeter) HSU Research HB-1mk2 (horn) KEF Q100 (dome) While i liked the looks of the HTDs the best, i liked their sound the least, so i sent those back. The...

    Power Sound Audio S3000i

Ha, yup. I used to have my two S3000i subs in my theater, one along the screen wall, and one on the riser next to the second row (after finding the best spots with the sub crawl method). All level matched and calibrated. The first 30 seconds of Edge of Tomorrow is a serious torture test. I...

    CMonster Condo HT

Renate and I got to experience this theater this past weekend, and we had a blast. Chuck and Ang are great hosts, their condo is awesome, and KC is a lot fun. Got to experience Atmos for the first time (we watched John Wick in 4k), and also got to hear his Dyns as well as those monster JTRs...
