Beats Pro by Dr. Dre

I'd swear that article said that the Beats were "top-of-the-line". I guess it all depends on who's line you use to judge them. With this division, Is this the beginning of the Mass Monsterfication of sound reproduction? Bose the 2nd? There'll be the Monster line AND the Beats line. Hopefully, based on what you've reported Flint, Beats improves their designs.

Seriously, did this one line from the article not make anyone else laugh histerically?

An example of Monster's new offerings is a pair of in-ear headphones dubbed the Miles Davis line where the buds are shaped like trumpets and have volume controllers that look like piston vavles. There are currently eight new lines.

C'mon, I am laughing just posting this :laughing-rolling:

Beats sound like shit. I heard a pair of Sony headphones at Best Buy that sounded three times better and cost 1/3 the price.

I know Dre's music has hyped bass and too-sizzly highs, but if the phones have the same emphasis won't that be overkill?
