DIY equipment stand

Ward I question the strength of that against horizontal movement. To me it looks like that thing will come apart as the first sign of an incident. I would hate to see a bad end to that nice gear.

Any chance you would consider a threaded rod down the center of the pvc pipes?

You bet! There is an enclosed 14' trampoline and "fort" with swing set, rock wall, rope ladder, slide and picnic table under the watch tower. Our kids are grown but we have a grandson and know lots of people with kids. This way the whole family comes over, we throw the kids in the back yard or in the quest room with the Wii and Playstation, the wives drink wine and talk about their "crazy" husbands and the guys...well we just listen to tunes, talk audio and drink. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon or evening.
