An old friend of mine named Jimmy has wanted a home theater for some time. He had seen mine during the phase where the walls were painted, carpet was in and the room was functional but no "cave" treatments. We had toyed with the possibility of me helping him with one on and off for at least two or three years. Fall of last year (knowing that mine was much more themed since he last saw it) he came by with his other friend who's also a Batman fan and was blown away. He really pressured me to come over and check out his basement and come up with a design and put something together. The only real request he made is that the seating be purple since that color is his and his wife's favorite color. Other than that he gave me complete creative control, essentially a blank canvas. My only concern is he gave me a fairly sizeable budget to work with so I asked that he looked online and browse some pics of some HTs that he and his wife liked and I would come up with something.
