Wondering, do you have Dynamic EQ on or off ?

I run it off.

I found almost all the options degrade sound in someway or another.

Another question. Sound mode: Direct, Pure Direct, or Auto ?
You can't make any audio adjustments when in Direct or Pure Direct.
Sorry for the questions (I've asked Batman a question also) because I'm setting up my refurbed Marantz SR5009 now. Its not in the league yours is buts its pretty nice (loving the HDMI w/ARC....since my Samsung has HDMI w/ARC). I'm sure I'll have more.

With my 7005, in order to Airplay to Zone 2 I must also Airplay to the main zone. I can't have the main zone off or set to a different source.

That's interesting. The nuances of different brands is why I'm asking. I know on my Yammie, I can stream from Pandora etc. into Zone 2 regardless of Zone 1; however, Airplay is a different animal since an outside device is essentially controlling the unit.

Yeah, I can do internet radio in zone 2 regardless of zone 1 as well.
