Thanks to one Mr. Randy for posting about songlyrics.com. Never had heard of the sight, but after racking my brain, I figured the song was Whirly Girl, maybe by Oxo. I wasn't even close with the go go girl, it was let me tell you about a girl I know. The song at Amazon doesn't sound the same as it did in my head, but the lyrics are right. Anyone know if this was recorded by anyone else. The one I seem to remember, I thought it had more synthisizer in it. Thanks for all of the help guys.

Way to go, Randy!

WOW, I finally feel like I actually contributed something to this forum. Besides my routine stupidity... :eusa-clap:

Gotta another song stuck in my head from the early 80's. It would have been on heavy rotation on MTV somewhere around 82, 83 or 84 probably. It has the line in it something like running around with my go go girl, or go go world or something like that. I'm guessing it was probably a one hit wonder band. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Rob

Randy would have never figured out which tune you were referring to without these awesome hints.

Sooooo close, yet, light years away.

Whatever happened to that sexy 80's dancer chick look? That formed my taste for hot chicks and it is completely gone these days.

I was thinking about that girl in the video, and how she is probably in her 60's now. Probably not sexy anymore! :scared-eek:

OK, here's another one. It has the lyrics "bye bye baby bye bye" and would be from a group in the 70's or early 80's. I was thinking it was Kansas, but a quick check and I don't see anything like that. It's NOT the Bay City Rollers.

Not completely gone, you should have seen my wife on Halloween. :music-rockout:

Let me try, this one.

Rope, I said it was not The Bay City Rollers, fucker! :angelic-green: It's some group like Kansas or Little River Band, and I believe the song starts out with the words Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye. I probable own it, because it seems like I've heard on the squeezebox.

So, based on Huey's great description in his previous song....this song could start out with Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye, or, something altogether different. He could own it, or maybe not. It's a group like Kansas, or Little River Band.

Watch, it'll be "you could be dancin'" from the Bee Gees.

England Dan & John Ford Conley??? Did you just pull that one out of the "70s Jukebox Of Hell"???? I just listened to some of there samples and some songs might be all right, but damn the song "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight" is schmaltzy cheese whiz. We've got to change directions here:

edit: figured maybe I better not use the full spread for "Honey" since some folks might read this at work. This one is less naked looking.
