Ok, so long story short, it looks like I need to replace the cable for my downstairs setup.

Do you guys know if this cable is appropriate for running that length?

If not, what then?

Edit: What about this?

I would think either one would work. I'll be using a 75' HDMI cable with Signal Booster once my basement is finished. I verified that it worked before running it through the ceiling. I was planning on getting a Monoprice cable with RedMere technology like the one you posted but the length I needed was on back-order.

I will try this because it is cheap and I don't have to run a new cable (which involves taking down my tv). I will report back with the results.

ok, got some infor on theat thing and it won't work so I just ordered a 40 footer from monoproce with redmere. If that don't work, I'm calling bluejeans.

I have a 50 ft HDMI running from a Cox DVR to a TV in another room.

It works fine but the longer length shows in the time it takes a picture to appear on the Sammy LCD. I can cout to 5-6 before I get a signal . After that, all is good.

With coax cable, it was instantly (in SD).

I read anything longer than 25 feet and the cable will suffer issues without a booster of sorts. Although Denon takes time to set up I love Denon waaaaaaay more than my Onkyo which always has given me issues especially with the HDMI ports failing. My two Denons have never given me one issue ever.
