For my neighbors kitten it was vice versa. Also had an owl try to get one of my other neighbors Chi Hua Hua one night when the dog was out to pee.

We keep a really close eye on our little mutt after dark. We have a number of pretty big owls around our house.

There's a golden eagle that hangs around the valley I live at the top of, and I worry about the neighbor's rat terrier (worried about my own Corgis when they were pups, too).

We back up to a creek and state protected property and there is a bald eagle regularly seen within 100-200 yards from my home. I hope we're lucky enough to see it in July while many of you are here with your bad ass cameras.
