I’m insanely jealous even though I don’t have the sophistication to appreciate that gear for more than it’s aesthetic.
It has always been important to me for my gear to not only function well but to be pleasing to the eyes. What you see:
On the floor (left to right)
A very heavily modified Bottlehead Foreplay II preamp using 12AU7 tubes.
DIY power supply for the amplifier next to it.
DIY stereo amplifier using 2A3 tubes.
Modified Dynaco Mark III mono block amplifiers using KT88 tubes.
DIY scratch built version of a Dynaco ST70 stereo amplifier using 6CA7 tubes.
Pair of SST Ampzilla mono block solid state amplifiers. The designer, James Bongiorno, sent these to me.
On the rack (top to bottom)
JVC QL-Y5F turntable
Cambridge SOLO phono preamp (right of that) Magic eye VU meter
Sonic Euphoria passive preamp
Music Fidelity Pan CD player
Arte Forma Feliciano stereo amplifier using 2A3 tubes.
