What happened to Audiogon

^^
It's all about money. What used to be a helpful site for finding audio bargains and good used gear, has become a dealers listing wet dream. In addition, the new web layout sucks dog dicks.

Sounds like an opportunity for someone to make a new site to do what A-gon used to do. Or maybe their customer's will just disperse out to the various audiophile forum sites and ebay.

Yeah and the new layout does stink.

I agree that I prefer the old software and it hasn't been the smoothest implementation, but they have been fixing things along the way. It's taken them too long but it's getting there. I just completed a sale last week on there. I think listings will pick back up over time as there really aren't too many similar alternatives.

By the way, you can still search by zip code. They added that back in recently. It's on the left side and you have to enter an entire zip and select a distance radius. I was happy to see that feature return.

The new audiogon was terrible when it was first launched but it has gotten much better now.
I now like it better than the pre-historic looking old one.
