I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
Hey Chris! Hope things are going well. I had a PDR question for you. You think I could buy a PDR tool and pop this dent out? The car isn't worth much, but I'd like it to look better (doesn't have to be perfect). Keep in mind I've never done PDR, but I can watch Youtube videos :)
If you think...
Thanks guys. The Audio Technica ones I linked in the first post went on sale for $60, so I jumped on those. I also read some great things about the Anker Soundcore Q30s, and they went on sale for one day for $60 as well, so I got those too. Whichever one my daughter doesn’t want, I get to keep...
Hey Keith, I’ve been good. I know I’ve been slacking in keeping in touch. The last 2 years were crazy. We had to relocate during Covid due to an unfortunate job situation, so we feel like we’re just getting settled still. But I’m enjoying where I’m at. Been following your house adventures on FB!
My teenage daughter wants a pair of Bluetooth headphones, and I'm okay spending up to $100. I was looking at these Audio Technica ATH-AR3BTBK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZNC2L9
Anything else I should consider at that price point? Must be on or over ear, must be BT, must have the option of...
They were v3's, for reference. The only negative i could say about them in my HT was that if you wanted to push them pretty loud, the "cleanliness" in their sound would break down. But perhaps it was because i was driving them with an Onkyo receiver...
She (Luna) laid down with the kids for a little outside while the movie was on. In general, she just wants to be where we are. She's a rescue, so we don't know for sure, but they were fairly sure she's half black lab, and half pit bull terrier. Definitely has the short hair and shorter snout...
Ha. I just picked up a Polk PSW110 for a backyard theater... i should take a pic of it sitting next to one of my PSA S3000i's.
Tom, can you please explain the physics of the setup in the new S7201? You call it "sealed", but the backs of two of the drivers are open to the environment? Does...
Well, picked up a Polk PSW110 off Craigslist for $50. In good condition, and it works flawlessly. It's certainly no PSA or SVS, but it'll get the job done. I think the last thing i need is a projector stand. It's going to need to be on fairly uneven ground, or maybe even the steps leading up...
Yeah, i wouldn't expect anything like inside, but just something to fill out bottom end so you can feel *something*. Maybe i'll just check out CL and see what i could find for <$100. Since it'd be placed near the seating area, its effect would be felt, i think.
So we're putting together a backyard theater as i mentioned in my WTB post. No pictures yet, and it's supposed to rain all weekend, but i'll post pics once we get to try things out. So far, we have:
Projector: Optoma EH500 (1080p, 4700 lumens!)
Screen: Camp Chef OS-144 144" screen
Source...
First world problems, i know... but i'm trying to figure these two things out. I posted on AVSforum's 2016 Denon AVR thread, but haven't received any answers. Figured i'd give it a shot here:
1) I have my X3300 powering a 5.1 system in my living room, and then the zone-2 preamps feed a signal...
