I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
It was from Fedex and it was the Onkyo factory packaging box. It wasn't put in a shipping box.
The tape on the bottom of the box had split and I don't know how the accessories didn't slide out.
Very disappointed with AC4Less for not using a proper shipping box.
It arrived today and I hooked it up a couple of hours ago. The box it came in was all banged up but the unit itself and the accessories were fine so whatever. It came with a remote, an optical digital cable and a 3.5 mm audio cable.
It must have had the IR codes already preset for the Panasonic...
I have a Harmony 700 remote but I use it in my main system. The kids are still very young and wouldn't know how to use it.
They are familiar and know how to use the xfinity remote, that's why it was important for the soundbar's volume to be controlled with the current remote.
The Zvox have good reviews but they are $300, double of what I want to spend.
I decided to order the Onkyo. Hopefully it's good enough that I won't feel like I wasted $150 for no improvement.
Long story short, I am sick of the sound from the TV speakers in the living room so I want something better.
I thought about using a spare Harman Kardon receiver that I have and a pair of bookshelf speakers (have 3 different pairs) but that would complicate things for the wife and kids having to...
I thought the Rolling Stones' sales would be higher.
Van Halen's numbers were pretty high too. I never knew they sold so many records.
Good to see Metallica up there with the most successful artists.
I say go with Yamaha. Why? Because I have become a Yamaha fan lately. My current Yamaha Aventage A830 receiver is my favorite receiver from all the different ones I've had during the years.
The bastards of Amazon did not deliver the CD today and sent an email saying they haven't shipped it yet and will get here on Monday. It really pissed me off so I cancelled the order. Lately they have been doing this shit too often.
Crazy fuckers have balls of steel. One day before the album release they release a music video for each of the remaining songs on the album. Some of the videos are creepy as hell.
Legends!
