So here's what I discovered:
After running Audyssey all of the inputs default to a specific Dolby Digital mode. Once you use the remote to change the setting to THX, DTS, even Dolby... or any other of the presets, there is NO WAY I can find to get the receiver back to that Dolby Digital mode...
I've had my Onkyo for just over a year now and realized I've never done the FULL Audyssey multi-position setup on it.
I downloaded a PDF that shows all 12 of the mic placements and ran the setup and I am confused by the results.

I have my entire library ripped to MP3 320kbps.
I listen to music while driving, working, playing video games, working out.... I rarely listen to music to listen to music.
I can hear a difference, but I choose to make it a non issue. That's why I have discs.

You know what, you're right. I thought I was streaming stuff through my PS3, but i actually was ripping media to it...
I use my xbox to stream from my media center PC... so confused.... :-P

McDonalds sells the most hamburgers, that don't make em good.. lol.
I still prefer the xbox for gaming, hands down.
The PS3 is a better audio/video/data streaming solution.
