Cosmetic's huh, well that makes me feel better, and explains why my JBL's look like something from a 80's recording studio. Instead of the elegant looking $60k JBL Everest's. Though mine sound much better, IMHO.
I'm with Haywood, cripes sake for $10k, you should at least an all aluminum enclosure, a pure Beryllium tweeter and a midrange with a multi-Wall carbon fiber cone with a layer of XG Nanographene. Oh, wait that there is a floorstander like that it's the Magico A3.
So Rammis, using trickle up economics, not only are the wealthy getting wealthier. They are also getting all the better stereo toys,
Bastards! Dang income wage gap :veryangry:
I need to hit the Hoosier Lottery Jackpot, so I can join them, sigh.

Cool video in geeky sort of way, they start out with my favorite headphone the Voce. They go into some depth about all the design features and choices that went into making it. They even have 3 different head phone filters you place inside the HP, to damp down the high frequencies as you like...

FYI, I tried the Susvara ($6000) flagship planar magnetic HP from HifiMan. In a back and forth listening session with the HiFiMan HE1000's V2 ($3,000). To tell the truth I couldn't hear much of a difference. Both are still better than HifiMan's electrostatic...
Thanks for the pics and comments, how did those big Volti Audio horns sound. I've never seen that model from them before. Also how about the sound of the Austin Acoustics horn?

This was one of my favorite speakers at AXPONA regardless of price, so did many audio reviews of it. All aluminum enclosure, sealed bass, supposed go down to 20hz (no +or- spec), beryllium tweeter. I'm sure they will sell a lot of these at a...

Just saw John Williams conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, on the 26th of April. Wow that was cool, never been to Chicago Symphony Hall before some interesting acoustics, like a giant bowl above and around the orchestra. I was in the 4th row, sounded pretty good to me. However an usher said...

Good news is I thought the idea of this company was kinda cool. Order a speaker in any color you want, or come up with your...
I pretty much upgraded my whole system last year, speakers and electronics. Now I just need to get a 4K Dolby Vision TV and some RPG Modex room treatments.
This room was really cool and laid back, and great for taking a break from the show, getting a drink and chilling out. Taking in a nice view of the cold and rainy weather outside, while being warm and toasty while listening to some premium amps and headphones.
