Both my buddy and I have dropped ceilings in our listening/ht rooms. His has 2X2 and mine is 2X4 tiles, any suggestions on good accoustic tiles for the ceiling?
Flint, from reading your pinned thread, I assume the wood floor for the first reflection is better because it doesn't create the comb filtering that the carpet does? So the reflections get to your ears within a closer time period.
I really need to read the book that you recommended to me...
I seem to remember something about having the mains sitting on a hard surface and having the first area of flooring being more reflective of sound. I also recall some pictures of engineered listening rooms, recording studio's and/or mixing rooms that had the front 1/3 of the room hard wood and...
A good friend of mine has just built some walls in his basement. He now has a room 21ft long 13feet wide and 7.5 feet high. He has a riser in the back 9 inches high for tiered seating. Am I right in saying that by filling the riser with fibreglass insulation that he would have a bass trap...
Soooo, you're so excited you'll be Dancing on the Ceiling?
I moved my Wii upstairs to the 46in, on the projo downstairs I found the graphics a little distracting. The screen is about 92in so the lower res is noticable. Part of the reason I moved it upstairs was because the kids have easier...
Bought GH Wariors of Rock for PS3. I checked out the compatibility matrix and all looks good, unless you buy the first games on either side. There are some after-market instruments that aren't compatible both ways, too. Only one more sleep for Santa!!

So, my fist CD was Judas Priest and my second was Megadeath, so I've enjoyed Metal for a while. Metal to Opera and almost everything in between. I was just playing GH World Tour and there is a three song set of Tool. Well, looking around on youtube and I've discovered that Tool is awesome...
How the hell can it be that I download a whole album from iTunes, but when I go to my Music library it calls the whole album "Unknown Album"!?!?!?! I just bloody downloaded from iTunes!! Shouldn't the program know the Album name? It had the album name in the iTunes store. I'm just....at a loss.
I have 60's as my mains in the H/T, I think v3's. Currently running without a sub and don't miss is at all on music. Movies, maybe a little...well, a lot. They are smooth and any time that I've had an issue service has always been great on these and my very very very old (20 yrs) Phantoms...
