I just ordered the album this past weekend so I'll be able to share my opinion soon. I've heard a couple of their other songs (MF, Jump On My Shoulders, Guilty Filthy Soul, Burn It Down) and I've liked most of what I've heard but Sail is definitely my favorite thus far...
 
AWOLNATION

So I've had a chance to spin Megalithic Symphony a few times and you're right Batman, Sail is definitely darker than the rest of the songs. Pretty much every other track is upbeat with a positive message in the lyrics. It's a fun album and I have yet to feel the need to skip over a song because I find it annoying or bad.

This grabbed my attention listening to AltNation, it's getting a lot of airplay due to the popularity of the GTA5 soundtrack. The Chain Gang of 1974

AWOLNATION has a new album out, Run, and it has three tracks that have really jumped out at me so far, Run, Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf), and Windows.

I've been playing the hell out of Alt-J the last couple days on Prime Music while waiting for their CDs to get here. The albums have a range of different sounds and I highly recommend them both!

I let my Pandora One subscription expire earlier this year and have been using Amazon Music exclusively at work. At first I was just listening to the Alternative station but it wasn't playing anything new. The Alt-J station, however, has been pretty awesome. I need to get their albums too...
 
I'm not sure if this songs falls in the Alternative category or not (how is that defined these days anyway?) but I recently became obsessed with this song. Came out a few years ago but I missed it.

Victor yeah for sure. They only show the keyboardist (the one without the long beard) for half a second, he seems familiar though. The drummer and guitarist, nope.
