Are the bass player and guitarist related? Or is just that they are both large and bald?

Was about to ask the same thing.

How do I find the facebook page for a guy who doesnt use facebook?

There is no relationship between anyone in the band.

I did not hear the doubled because it was not loading currently.

The word is that reverb, delay and other effects when applied to vocals can create a problem with intelegibility, Depending on how it is placed. Effects can also be easily driven to much. Reverb and Delay can mask problems when in the monitors and the singer will not hear his pitch problems because the reverb is masking. Another setting is the pre delay to the reverb to provide a small gap from the live sound and the reverb.

The pagagraph above is to help those not familiar with the recording side as much.

This all depends on the music. You will not find much rap with reverb on the lead or the group vocals.

I liked this recording and found the drums to be in a good place on the mix. I was cranking with about 95 to 100 db.

The other day I was out doing a festival with my rig on a generator. This created a problem because the bands keyboard and mac computers did not like the power.
The keyboard was on and off, on and off, on and off, The Lead kept coming to the mic asking for more click track and the band did not tell me which one of the three computers or if the keyboard was providing the click. With the computers humming up a storm and cutting in and out with the keys. Oh well. In other words yes problems happen. The other three acts did not have problems.

Foosman is booked for another show, this time alone for a full 2 hour set.

I think you should look into a live streaming Audio Annex webcast of the show.

Tonight's the big show. We are playing two full sets, about 50 minutes each.

Songs are almost all our own, but there are a few covers you may recognize:

- In the flesh
- Swingtown
- Carry on my wayward son

This is going to be a hoot. I am wearing my kilt.

We've hired a professional club concert video producer to shoot the entire show. We should have at least a few videos posted in a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to share.

This is fun! We have no pressure to make money, so everything we do is aimed at doing more of it. We would like enough fame that we can play the places we want to play a draw a good audience who enjoys what we do. That's all.

We got the music down, that's not hard. The harmonies on the chorus, however... let's just say we are counting on the audience singing along with us and drowning out our efforts.

I don't recognize In The Flesh.

Please tell the videographer to be careful. PLEASE.

Otherwise...BREAK A LEG!

What a great show!

I had a great time and made little money to pay for heads and sticks. I broke 3 sticks.

The photos are trickling in...

By the way, I was playing a new Seamless Brass "Nouveau" snare by Yamaha last night. Very good snare. I have the 7" deep version. That was my main snare for 17 of 20 songs. On the other three songs I played my lovely Pearl 4-ply Mahogany 6.5" deep snare. With the loose, fat, warm tone it makes, those songs clearly had a different mood.
