Incredible Covers...

I sorta had a crush on Linda Ronstadt when I was in my teens. I thought she was a fox!!

Prefer Warren though!!
She also covered Elvis Costello, I prefer Elvis

She does have a fantastic voice though!

Post-Mothers, Frank Zappa almost always ended his shows with The Allman's Whippin Post. This one is one of my favorite lineups, with Bobby Martin on vox, Chad Wackerman on drums, and a nice, unusual brass section! :music-rockout: :music-rockout: :music-rockout:

Iris covers Harlan Howard

Iris was from Weston, Mo we used to drive up there to an Irish Pub and listen to her was good times. I always felt her voice was pure Americana.

WOW!!! :eusa-clap:

The Scorpions covering Ronnie James Dio's "The Temple Of The King" song. I thought they did it justice.

Dang lulimet, another good one.

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow was always one of my favorite albums growing up. Loved that song.

Rainbow was our favorite band way back when. We saw them at a very small venue when the lineup was, Ritchie, Ronnie James Dio, Roger Glover, Cozy Powell and some keyboard dude. We were in the 3rd row and will never forget it to this day. :music-rockout: :music-rockout:

RIP - Ronnie and Cozy!! :bow-blue: :bow-blue:

The covers above are awesome.

Another Fun Fact:

Ritchie and his wife live in Mt Sinai, LI, NY. One town over from where I grew up. Friends see him frequently in a local resturant where we had our wedding reception.......

Kill The King (our band in HS, used to open with this one)

I have to agree Yesfan! IMO, every musician on the stage stood out with their own passion for music & talent.

Nice "Incredible Cover" Botch!

^ That is the only way that Frank would do it!! First class ALL the way!

RIP Mr. Zappa!

I feel this is beyond incredible!! A Leon Russell classic. This powerhouse can sing! :bow-blue:

The genius Richard Thompson playing a little teeny pop.

I was looking for a video of Fountain of Wayne playing this song and stumbled on Richard's version. It isn't a bad song having heard several covers of it.

:eusa-clap: That guy just made a this song tolerable. That is true genius. Besides Madonna Britney Spears is my wife's favorite artist. This song she can play over and over in the car. Next time she asks for some Britney i am gonna hit her with this.

^--- actually he makes that pretty interesting, some nice rhythm changes.

Totally agree. The song's terrible, but Richard makes it into something I would like to own.
