? That one should be small enough to embed directly... looks like it can't be retrieved internally by the board, guess there's some cookie requirement from the url. We're not being arbitrary about image size requirements, and have set the limits to make the board readable on multiple devices/styles (which it is not sometimes if really huge images are inlined).

I've been bitching about the 800 pixel limit since this site started. I can't post a ton of great pics in the "funniest picture thread" due to this limit. I think 1000 would be a reasonable request but no one listens to me.

Can't you simply resize/edit the photo and take it down to a smaller size that will post?

I've done it several times.

Too much friggin work, would be better if our illustrious demi-god mods would just lift the 800 pixel count restriction and allow 1000 or even 1200, since almost all monitors now allow 1200 size images.

In case anyone is interested, The Dark Knight Rises prologue (the first 6-7 minutes of the film) will be attached to the new Mission Impossible movie on 16th this month. It's limited in format and will only be shown on IMAX screens with the 70mm 15perf format...if you recall they did the same with The Dark Knight back in '07 by attaching the prologue to I Am Legend...
