Not bad. Maybe not the best I've seen, but worth watching certainly.

I'll look at these other suggestions, wife's not home till tomorrow so I've got tonight as well.

I was the one that recommended Ip Man in another thread. I rally liked it, especially as it was based on a true story.

Not saying I really recommend some of these but films I've been talked into watching recently and demonstrate the variety of material available on NF streaming:

Run, Bitch, Run - one of those "so bad it is fun to watch" movies. WARNING: contains full nudity and sex really a soft porn film.

Rampage - extremely violent, one man shooting rampage. Kinda of like a real life first person shooter game.

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia - really makes you think about the people walking around in this world.

Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution (vol 1-4) - an argument against science.

Dragon Wars - Now this one is pretty good, story line a bit weak but good sound and a lot of pretty good CGI.

Wonder if it's a cheap knock off of Run Lola Run starting Franka Pontente (was in Bourne Supremacy) which is a decent movie.

Paul is really Dead - new on Netflix based on two cassette tapes that a California studio received from George Harrison five years after his death and recorded the day after some crazed fan stabbed George Harrison in his English mansion. It was (if real) a last testiment that George" made about how in depth the "Paul is dead" theory went and how MI6 was behind the cover up and John Lennon's death. As a huge Beatlemaniac I knew most of the story and clues, but this "documentary" although very very fake in my opinion. Was still a good story and I learned a few new clues I hadn't heard/seen before.

When 11 of her friends are raped and murdered, leaving the Samurai Princess (adult video star Aino Kishi) the only survivor, she becomes infused with her comrades' souls. Transformed into an android, she sets out to avenge their deaths. Dai Mizuno co-stars as the princess's human partner in this Kengo Kaji-directed gore fest that features breast grenades, detachable chainsaw limbs, deadly guitar riffs and more.

On your guys recomendation finally saw "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" last night. Holy crap what a great movie and my GF thanks all of you guys, she said not only did she love the movie but it also gave her some ideas........

Wait WUT!!!!!!!! :scared-yipes:

Noticed there are some decent additions to the streaming library on NF. Think most of them were very recently added:

Toy Story 3 ( but no 1 or 2)
Most of the old James Bond ( with the glaring exceptions of Dr. No, From Russia with Love and Goldfinger)
Gone With the Wind ( I've never seen this film from beginning to end, just bits and pieces)
Complete"Cheers" TV series
Complete "Wings" TV series
Gangs of New York
Sons of Anarchy TV series
Glee - first season
Ken Burns "Baseball" documentary
Saving Grace TV series
MacGyver TV series
"No Direction Home" a Bob Dylan documentary
Adventures of Young Indiana Jones
many many more

And let's not forget "The Brady Bunch in the White House"

NF seems to be adding alot to streaming lately.

Checkout NF they have added a number of new movies and some pretty good ones.

Noticed that Capt. America film was added to NF streaming.

Also the AMC series Hell on Wheel.

thought id revive this,

so, i got real steel here with hugh jackman, continue or pass?

i also got fast and furious tokyo drift , i was able to finish it on tv at one point, but wasnt able to start the movie,

return or waste of time?

Reel Steel was awful. Just awful.

No comment on Tokyo Drift. Not my kind of movie.

Last movie I watched on streaming was Mission Impossible 1. a few nights ago... I haven't seen any of this series, figured I'd start from the beginning.

Watched some animated okay comic based movies yesterday; Hulk vs. Thor, Hulk vs. Wolverine, Planet Hulk, Ultimate Avengers

Not a movie but the TV series "Flashpoint" is just some of the best damn action series ever broadcast. They have all four seasons on Netflix and ION television channel is broadcasting the newest season.

roger that. i'll seal it up and get it ready for shipping out...

tokyo drift is essentially a necessity for me.. :happy-smileygiantred:

seriously tho, i have The Grey also on cue, started it but will continue it later on.

oh, about the comic book streaming movies, man, its a pleasure seeing most of them. despite the 'newer' graphics, i dont mind it as much. its great to see a fresh breath of air in their series.

watched dylan dog with the superman returns actor brandon routh,

not bad, despite a bit cheesy on certain notes, its got a good classic detective feel to it. a couple of entertaining elements - the narrative returns with great detail, not everything is revealed early on, and of course, the plot twist at the end.

the sidekick was a bit too whimsical for me, but ey, cant have a movie without the comic relief right?

good show.

Werewolf: the Beast Among Us - not bad, some action, ok cgi, story not atrocious.
