Who is planning on watching 'The Grammy Awards'?

Did you all catch the press release on the supposed mic fell into the strings on the piano ?

Of course the IEM did not help with her not being in tune. We will have to allow them a do over this time.

Saw that. I figured that whatever was going on, the sound guys were crapping boulders at the moment. A bad time for stuff to go pear-shaped.

But hey, tape fails, singers just have a bad night, etc.

I'd still rather have Adele have an off-night than watch a SuperBowl "performance" when none of the keyboards have any cables plugged in.

I am (only TV show I never miss) but the entire thing has been completely flat for me so far, except for a quickie tribute to Maurice by Stevie Wonder and some vocal group (Spectrasonic?), that was pretty dang good. Sad that at least three of the advertised numbers (White, Bowie, Frey) are tributes.
Pentatonix. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentatonix#Film

I've been interested in the group ever since I happened to watch their documentary "On My Way Home" on Netflix.

Where's that jealous emoticon when you need it?

The one and only time I ever saw an a cappella group in concert was The Nylons back in the '80s when it was comprised of Marc Connors, Claude Morrison, Paul Cooper, and Arnold Robinson. Still in my top-ten all-time best concerts-seen list.

While a completely different generation of musicians, the Pentatonix look to be just as gifted musically, and likely just as entertaining.

Enjoy!
