I don't think the screen is necessarily too high as I sat on the couch and stared at it for a while with my wife and our realtor were laughing hysterically at what I was imaging I was watching. So, I told them porn and they both left me alone.also feels a bit too high for my taste.
but then again, we're talking about you randy.
a tv on top of a fireplace was your niddle name.
The basement is really nice it just isn't done the way I would have if I had a blank slate.
I feel your pain sir! This seems to be the case the vast majority of the time if somebody put in a "theater" room. Mine is handicapped by the guy having put everything in drywall cubbyholes on one wall. Well, he sized it for a 32" CRT TV. Yeah- not something easily redone without a lot of demo work. So I put in shelves and that's where the components live.

That looks great! I'd probably be looking at 75" too but don't rule out 65 and 70. Do you know what size it is in the picture?
I don't, I didn't measure the display.
I measured the opening and it was 69" W x 49" H. I wrote it down but don't have the notes with me.
A 77" Sony A9G OLED is 67 7/8" wide. You're welcome.
