Ventured out to see Sicario today. Another quality flick. These "drug cartel" movies present some downright scary scenarios. It's a fucked up world out there...

So we had been anxiously waiting for this release for a while. Watched it a few days ago and... meh. Still a decent movie, but I didn't think either the humor or the music was a good as the first one.

watched this recently. i dont know why, call me crazy, but i kept on bawling on this one.

was it bad? nope. not as bad as i thought it would be,

wifey thought it was three possible reasaons.

1. too close to home, bay area, places we are familiar with etc.
2. Dwayne johnson should never be invulnerable. nuff said.
3. the fact that no matter how prepared you can be, both by mind and preparation, natures best will have the upper hand.

anyways, great movie though.

Insidious 3

not as good as the first two, but it was definitely a great movie to see elise 'moving' around, seeing her be herself. showstopper i guess...

Tomorrowland,

not the best from Disney, but definitely a great movie for a rental. would i buy it? for technical aspects, possibly, but otherwise, im good.

Just finished watching this with my daughters - really REALLY good! Very interesting insight into emotions and psychology (for the adults) but just a fun movie (for the kids)! And yes my older daughter totally identified with the "Disgust" character. :laughing-rolling: Anyway, enjoyed this one very much.

Youth (2015)

Last night watched "No Escape" I rather liked this going in thinking I wouldn't. Movie showing the lengths a guy does to protect his family day one after moving into a foriegn country just as their leader is assasinated and the country is thrown into turmoil and the citizens are killing all foreigners.

I will say I had to scream at the TV a few times. Seriously what is up with women and wanting to ask so many questions when people are shooting at you. Seriously if your man says move your ass then move your ass. Seriously a few times I threw my hands up and turned to my Michelle and said, "Honey if people are shooting at us and you refuse to move because your ask stupid questions then sorry hon your on your own cause I'm heading balls out in the other direction away from the people shooting.

Michelle was like, "she just wants to know what's going on". People are shooting at them that's what's going on move your ass it ain't no time for 20 questions. A few times during the movie I was like "fuck it Owen just leave them, if they're too stupid to run and hide you can get another wife and make more kids cause obviously the ones you have are too stupid to live.

But it was an action packed exciting movie.
