Wow heeman, that takes me back... my friends and I used to watch those all the time when we were in high school...

Took my daughter to see SMURFS today.

I was surprised that it was actually pretty good, although a bit long for a 5yr old.

Runs about an hour and 45 mins.

jomari, I'm glad you liked it. Many review sites are not so fond of it.

We picked them up for like $5.99 each and had a great afternoon watching them!

picked up what heeman?

i loved centurion, as much as its not the best filim out there, its no slouch. theres a real spot missing for roman material, and aside from your standard issue gladiator - spartacus was soft porn in my book.

just finished this movie, kill the irishman...

great movie, actually was a blind buy. watched it and satisfied i did.

it shows how most of hte downhill actors of my generation end up in one movie showing how fat and tired they all look, all produced by Tara reid.

The background drama of my younger days. Living in Cleveland at that time Danny Greene and the mob were what we heard about everyday. I don't recall how many but it seemed some gangster was getting blown up every day. I was working for the public transit system during that time and we wondered if a bus was going to become "collateral damage" at some time.

I'll have to catch this one.

I have a degree in history and love to watch historical documentaries. some of the ones I've been watching:

What can you say - ninjas, cowboys, circus people and more ninjas.

Shades of David Carradine and "Kung Fu" . Oriental martial artist fleeing from pursuers ends up in the old west. some interesting camera work and a few really good reference scenes for sound.

I got this as a rental but will be keeping an eye out for a used BD copy to buy.

Note to Pauly - there is an opera played in parts of this movie. If you watch the flick maybe you will recognize the opera and let me know what it is.

Ok, queued. I'll let you know if I can figure out what it's from...

totally forgot about writing a review on this one. i know it seemed a bit shallow, but its not bad for what it is. i do love the main character, hes pretty famous in korea, i hope that his career continues to grow.

in lieu to the movie, this one also has er... whats his name. - the guy from kings speech. entertaining to say the least, but i prefer it more over than sukiyaki django.

This is a true reproduction of the Roger Corman B movies I saw in drive-ins as a teen.

Poor PQ, over the top acting by non-professionals, lots of gratuitous blood and gore and just bad.

but I loved it.
